The artist's head is covered in a white plastic bag and the red “Thank You” slogan. The artist walks the streets of Harlem, New York City, and the world. All the while, she knits a long trailing blanket made from the same plastic bags that cover her face. At the crescendo of the video, her demise is a calamity linked to the burden of the plastic bags.
The work is a commentary on how even though laws have changed; and plastic bags have been banned, consumption has remained the same. The video shows the artist's difficulty getting rid of using plastic bags in her daily life, especially in New York City, a city of consumption.
